What is Industrial and Engineering Chemistry?
What is Industrial and Engineering Chemistry?Industrial and Engineering Chemistry can be a scary subject, when people are just beginning to understand it. There are so many different terms to learn in this field, not to mention the fact that it is all about making something from raw materials and using chemical processes in order to create it.This discipline covers all aspects of our man's civilization that involves the use of chemicals. It has many components and can be very complex. This makes it almost impossible for a layman to get into it in one or two years.Different countries have different systems of grading what is called the General Science classes, which are then referred to as Industrial and Engineering Chemistry. In the United States, they give out grades from A to F that include some specific questions that they ask to see if you have a good knowledge of the class. The reason that there are different grades in this field is because not every chemical process is used in e very other field. Some processes are very specific and only used in certain industries. Some processes cannot be found anywhere else and are used exclusively in this field. There are many other fields that also use this chemical process. Some of them are as follows; micro-bio-chemical process, polymerization process, thermodynamics, biology, drug-discovery, nano-technology, and life sciences. These are just a few of the many other areas that can be studied in this discipline. In addition to this, students can even receive several certificates and degrees depending on their academic performance. These can include; Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Chemistry, Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Certificate in Chemical Engineering, Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering. This is why a lot of time and effort is put into this science field. For this reason, there are many different fields that are intertwined with this one. Peopl e with the right knowledge will surely find the right career to pursue.
